American Heart Association Training Site

Medical International Support Services is an American Heart Association Training Site for, First Aid and Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). The training site offers a variety of CPR-ECC (Emergency Cardiac Care) courses and provides instructional materials.

Training Facility

Our in-house facility is designed to comfortably sit up to 20 participants. We however also provide off-site training at our client’s location or other preferred locations such as training centers and resorts.

Our Trainings

First AID and Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation

Heartsaver Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and use of an Automated External Defiibrillator (AED) is a classroom, video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR and AED use, as well as how to relieve choking on an adult. This course teaches skills with AHA’s research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students’ learning of skills.

Basic Life Support (BLS)

BLS (CPR) Healthcare Provider Renewal Course CPR First time or renewal classes are for those individuals who need to renew their CPR certification. Renewal should be completed by the last day of the month of expiration on the individual’s CPR card. Classes are in 4 hour blocks and allow participants flexibility to practice and demonstrate skills to renew. Participants must score at least 84 on the written test.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Course This two-day course is designed for health care providers that are new to Advanced Cardiac Life Support of for renewal. A combination of techniques is used to present the essential information Prerequisite: Proficient BLS Health Care Provider skills. Target Audience: Medical, nursing, paramedical, or allied health personnel whose daily occupation demands proficiency in the knowledge and skills of ACLS.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Course This two-day course is designed for health care providers that want to renew or are new to Pediatric Advanced Life Support. A combination of techniques is used to present the essential information. Prerequisite: Proficient BLS Health Care Provider skills. Target Audience: Medical, nursing, paramedical, or allied health personnel whose daily occupation demands proficiency in the knowledge and skills of PALS.
